When these programmers figure out the control schema of the AARP board system we may end up with a working coherent board system.

Posted 4/26/06 10:27 PM

You Said : "Amen! But control of both Houses in 2007 will get us started in the right direction. Then maybe an impeachment trial would bring out evidence of lying that has been covered up to now. "

< p>< p>The return of sanity to the Hill will be a comforting relief from the insanity of the Delay's House Conference of scandal era. May be Republican and Democratic congressmen can start working together to keep this country growing and competing with the world. When the K Street Project garbage is swept into prison the real RNC can emerge .

Posted 4/26/06 6:48 PM

You Said: "Some people would love to get rid of the federal government altogether. Thank goodness that can't happen. The Federal government is there to protect it's citizens from state abuse of constitutional rights . It's been doing a lousy job of that for a long time. A centralized government was the design decided on by the founding fathers "

< /p>

The role of the federal government as a protector of the civil rights of the individual is an absolute necessity. The last time we let big business protect the rights of the masses we had child labor, forced over time and 7 day work weeks as the norm. At that time there was no minimum wage , horrible working conditions and wide spread environmental poisoning. OH what a wonderful world it was and could be. This is the dream of the RNC / Cato/Heritage Alliance. See our future in the insidious clauses of H.R. 1 a insurance company that can walk away and leave you in the hole at any time with out a care at the whim of the " company " . This bill needs a rewrite ASAP .

< p>George Walker Bush is pushing Social Security Reform as another step backwards .

< p>We can't do this and survive as a country. We must do as George Walker Bush does not as he says.
Posted 4/26/06 12:16 PM

The RNC / Cato/Heritage Alliance is busy thrashing about making lots of noise Mexican Hunting to distract the public from his main goal the destruction of the SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION . According to George Walker Bush soon we will need about 30 to 40 MILLION more workers paying FICA to keep the SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION Trust in the black and George Walker Bush is doing every thing in his power to assure we don't keep growing keep growing and his recession comes about. The Loons on the Hill are busy running up as much PORK barrel debit as they can to force the United States of America into defaulting on the interest bearing special issue bonds .

< /p>

The Rape and pillaging of the United States of America will continue no matter what happens to this country as long as the RNC / Cato/Heritage Alliance is in power.

Posted 4/26/06 11:59 AM

Looks like some of the changes that folks were asking fo have been implemented at the price of loosing " ADVANCED MODE" am usin "Fire Fox " a mozilla work alike . Same short comings as IE. Been hacking a style sheet for Mambo maybe they will get the boards working soon.

Posted 4/26/06 10:35 AM

You Said "Please explain how the poor are supporting the rich in the Social Security program. We all pay the same rate on our wages. Benefits are only paid on wages below the cap."

First the 2001 Tax Cut (1) is in the process of increasing the tax burden on the poorest of the working folks

The RNC's 2001 Tax Increase for The Poor

Individual tax liability

The minimum wage is stuck at $5.15/hr. The minimum wage earner has lost $48.40 per week in buying power since 1997. The RNC is raising their TAXES

Is this fair the poorest of the lower class paying more taxes so the wealthiest of the wealthy can have a tax break????

< /p>if I must pay FICA on 100% of my income why should some one who makes $150K plus per year be given a FICA break on $60k plus of income along with soaking me and a lot of other folks with higher taxes to support their life style.

Looks like the boards are broke again ,,, There have been some changes so there may have been an unexpected " interaction " between seemingly unrelated functions %###@* ARGHHHHHAG!@$%$%"!

THE LINK TO ADVANCED MODE IS DEAD

Posted 4/23/06 10:38 PM

click on SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION Trust fixes. and read the pdf,

Posted 4/23/06 10:28 PM

Actually the cap should rise to 150k of all income. Most people in the United States of America are like me I have never paid off FICA . Time for every body to pay their way.

Posted 4/22/06 9:56 PM

The proof may be in that which is missing from the system. This looks like a " hack " just a bomb shell dropped in the middle of the board . No real design just disruption and the complete loss of the " Archives ". Just befor the change I noted that the " Archives were truncated at less than a year I ran a search on my posts and they stopped 500 posts short of the over 1200 I have made since I joined. Now I just ran a search over the past year and came up with 69 posts

Looks like some one wants to change history on the SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION debate .

That's the problem with the current "USE AND ABUSE " immigration system. This current system and the RNC approved immigration plan are one step above slave labor .

Posted 4/22/06 2:31 AM

The RNC / Cato/Heritage is in full Mexican Hunting mode. If one notes the recent successes of the RNC / Cato/Heritage Alliance Iraq, RNC SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION reform plans , H.R. 1 is showing it's true colors, George Walker Bush is busy creating " KATRINA " west with the CA central valley levy system. The RNC / Cato/Heritage Alliance is working on assuring the failure of the AMERICAN social economic structure with a shift to xenophobia. This will ensure the down fall of the SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION ( so they think ).

P.S.

The poor removal (1)(2)(3)(4)(5) from New Orleans is under way moving more slowly than expected but still going on.

4/12/06 11:36 AM

I am using MAC OSX 10.4.6 SAFARI Yes I know that you used a Microsoft development RAD but why not locate the html entry selection where ALL users can access html entry mode?? Fire Fox seams to work but these IE workaliks are like IE a virus waiting to happen . ( naturally they are under constant attack buy every half wit hack on the web ). Is few lines of code too much ?

It would also be nice if you could add a link to "ADVANCED MODE" from "BASIC MODE" since I am forced to start in "BASIC MODE" at log in. In "ADVANCED MODE" most every thing works some what. Why is the "center" command breaking the "span" font size assignment ??? Once "ADVANCED MODE" has nav bars and a stable text size with the full functionality of Whitney it will once again be the board.

You said: Idealism is a wonderful thing until it hits the solid wall of reality.

This is the reality we are facing a potential recession caused by the death of the BOOMERS. See chart

We face a drop in consumer spending in the range of $700 MILLION to $1 TRILLION in consumer spending. Got any fast fixes for that? What does the RNC ? Cato/Heritage play book say about that ? ( that is why George Walker Bush has been saying that our GDP growth rate will slow down to 1.8% per year ). There is a rather simple solution.

    End sub minimum wage labor

Raise the Federal minimum wage to $6.50/hr To $6.75/hr

Set an immigration limit from Mexico at 2 MILLION / year with some new rules

      1 " Illegal " smuggling ( coyotes ) = Five years ( Federal felony ) and or $50,000.00 fine per count ( each illegal ).

2 The penalty for knowingly hiring an illegal alien is 5 years and or $50,000.00 fine per count per illegal. Paying sub minimum wage is punishable by a 5 years and or $50,000.00 fine per count ( employee). Now entering the United States of America with out proper authorization is punishable by 5 years and or a $50.000.00 fine per count .

Such a program would require the expansion of Adult education in citizenship and English as a second language courses.

The " Sponsorship " program would need some serious improvements and our Embassy in Mexico would need at least a three fold increase in staff.

The object is to put an end toall illegal entry into the United States of America. Helping namely health care emergency services and charitable assistance is unnecessary they are going to jail.

IF you talk the talk then walk the walk. Put an end to sweat shop labor in the United States of America and place import quotas and tariffs on "sweat shop" imports from any country in the world. No exceptions.

Posted 4/12/06 6:49 AM
IF we had a true "capitalist in the White House" he might see the utility of keeping the United States of America growing. A true capitalist maight see that when the BOOMERS die off there will be drop in consumer spending. A true capitalist would love to see a growing customer base and would be working over time to " GET IN ON THE ACTION " Truly Sharp marketers would be would want the minimum wage to rise to a point where a single person could support ones self ( So they would have some extra money to spend over food and housing ). Is this the de-intellectualization of the AMERICAN moneyed elite ??

Posted 4/12/06 6:02 AM

The concept is simple At What Price Our Bigotry"?

WE NEED MORE PEOPLE WITH MORE MONEY

Posted 4/12/06 5:24 AM

Looks like we need more AMERICANS like that guy some one with the brains to create and earn wealth not wait for the government to give them another tax cut like the 2001 Tax Cut (1) . After all our "infreious leader" has been telling us we need more workers…

President Discusses Strengthening Social Security in Radio Address

    For Immediate Release_February 26, 2005

    http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2005/02/20050226.html

"….I will also make clear to younger workers that Social Security is heading toward bankruptcy. Massive numbers of baby boomers, like me, will soon begin to retire. People are living longer and benefits are scheduled to increase dramatically, and fewer workers will be paying into the system to support each retiree. For you younger workers, the current system has made promises that it cannot keep -- and that is also a fact. Every year we wait to address this problem will make any eventual solution more painful and drastic, and we will saddle our children and grandchildren with an ever-greater burden. We need to act now to fix Social Security permanently….."

President Participates in Social Security Conversation in Maryland

Montgomery Blair High School_Silver Spring, Maryland

    For Immediate Release_Office of the Press Secretary_June 23, 2005

    http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2005/06/20050623.html

"…And so you've got a lot of people getting ready to retire who have been promised greater benefits. The problem we have is that there are fewer people paying into the system. In 1950, there were about 16 workers for every beneficiary. Today, there's 3.3 beneficiary -- workers for every beneficiary. Soon there will be two workers for every beneficiary. You've got a lot of people living longer, getting greater benefits with fewer people paying for us. And the system, as a result, starts going into the red when the baby boomer generation begins to retire.

As a matter of fact, it starts going into the red in 2017. I know that sounds like a long time for people in Washington. It's not very long if you're entering the work place. In other words, you're paying into a system that starts going broke in 2017, into the red. And every year thereafter, after 2017, the problem gets worse. In 2027, it's $200 billion in the hole; in 2030, it's $300 billion in the hole…."

In 1983 I was vested in SPERRY's pension system now I am trying to get the company to give me access to my pension funds. This redemption has been going on since 1987 I have been receiving statements of the pension funds finances for the last 5 years but I have not been able to get the stooges to give me access to my 401k or Kehog. What is up with this pension freeze?? Is this only for new pensions or will this adversely affect me if I should ever receive my benefits from the company.

Question will the users of "ADVANCED MODE" be able to access all the AARP boards? And can you consider making the following changes

Also if you want to let every body use "BASIC MODE" it would be nice to add a "html" select button in a place where every body can use it.

A toggle link from "ADVAVCED" to "BASIC" should also be made available

These changes would improve the usability of both "BASIC" and "ADVANCED" modes for ALL USERS,

Now is the time for all good AMERICANS to unite behind the RNC / Cato/Heritage Alliances SPIN machine to place the blame for all that is going wrong in AMERICA in the right place. We must circle our wagons and close our minds to all reasoned solutions to our problems. It is time to unleash the repressed bigotry and hate of the Real AMERICANS. It is time to assure the flow of near slave labor into the United States of America from Mexico. It is time to codify and cement the sub human status of these iliegal laborers and their progeny. We must stop the AMERICANIZATION of these illegal laborers and their illicit progeny. We must relegate these illegals to the lowest rung of the AMERICAN social economic ladder and keep them there. We must stop the education of the illegals progeny to assure the purity of the AMERICAN educational system and to prevent these illegals from ever improving their lot. We must assure that all these illegals ever know is hard work, low pay and eternal suffering.

Is that more to your liking???

Posted 4/10/06 1:04 PM
First Every non American Indian is a descendant of an illegal. This country was seized by force from the original owners . That is called Grand Theft . Second if you are an AMERICAN you should be able to see that little country called China growing at 2 to 3 times our current GDP growth rate. Third you may wish to look at this chart

What happens when the BOOMERS are dead. The genX'ers will have to come up with an extra 700 MILLION+ in market demand for goods and services to ease the country over the hole left by us. Note the disparity in the populations. Fourth it is time the United States of America starts acting like a "Christian country" and stop "Using and Abusing" any population we can get away with "using" as "cheap labor" to feed us. We should be so lucky as to have this country overrun with people who are willing to actually work for a living. Understand this as per "W"'s SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION Reform stump speech The total number of AMERICA workers will begin to CONTRACT our consumer base will SHRINK and more people will continue to be laid off. Unless there is a sharp increase in population we are headed for single digit (1 to 2 percent ) GDP growth rate. To any body who has tried to market a product the idea of a shrinking customer base is bad news !! The question is do we GROW or do we DIE this is our choice.

Posted 4/10/06 9:02 AM
Some people see Mexico as a threat and others see Mexico as an opportunity to solve two problems with one law and a few adjustments.

As per George Walker Bush's stump speech on Social Security " …There will be only 2.2 workers per retiree …." Well guess what this is the solution let folks immigrate from Mexico the old fashioned way set a quota of about 1.5 to 2 MILLION per year. Demand a sponsor and English literacy training , raise the minimum wage to $6.50 to $7.00 per hour and due away with sub minimum wage work ( federal felony 5 years and or $50k fine per count / illegal or worker . The same for smuggling illeagals ( coyotes ) this would make George Walker Bush's SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION Trust solvency issue a moot point.

We can use the Tax paying workers with money to spend on food housing clothes, putting children through school, maintaining transportation. The choice is simple GROW or DIE .

Let see his campaign finances are are under review IF He is forced to resign then all politicians whose campaign finances are under investigation should be forced to resign their committee positions. I think this would shutdown the congress both houses.

The RNC has a large number of folks under investigation.

You don't get it this goes on all over the planet where ever there is a secure facility. You are stuck with Rep. McKinny in her past fighting old battles and missing the point. IF Rep. McKinny should forget her pin and visible id and a security breach was sounded she could end up in the cross hires as a valid target the guard was doing his job of protecting her from her self. The McKinny has earned her credentials as a "SPACE CADET" FOR SHE UNDERSTANDS THIS. A certified "Propeller Head" to be managed by those in the "Real World" ( the Capital Hill Guards and The Secret Service ). The next step is to loose the baggage of he past and stop fighting old battles with people who are clueless and grounded in the present trying to assure her safety and well being.

Posted 4/6/06 10:43 PM
If the guards had not known who she was she would have been on the floor with 4 guards on top of her, She never would have made it past the check point. They don/t play
Posted 4/6/06 10:29 PM
And I will restate that guard knew who she was!!! These guards are not dummies they know all the reps other wise the can push a broom. If you or I showed up 20 feet from the screening station the eyeballs would burn a hole in our heads. They know who belongs there.

Posted 4/6/06 10:12 PM
This is the "Guard shack" game. Every secure facility has one and the game is played every day around the world. Rep. McKinny blew it when she hit the guard. The guard was reminding Rep. McKinny to wear her pin !!!! The guards were the only people thinking bout "security" McKinny was else where ???? thinking about other things. Rep. McKinny doesn't understand, with out that pin she could end up looking down the business end of a "JAG" .

You must understand we have been "MICROSOFTED" These programmers are writing to the Microsoft platform IE 5 XX+ not html 4.01 transitional. This results in misplaced options and silly limitations in the finished product. The characteristic Microsoft programming environment is NON STANDARD with small tweaks to ensnare programmers in a web of interlocked non standard traps if a guy falls for 1 or 2 he sets off a tsunami of bugs in non Microsoft products that are written to the standard ( HTML4.01 Transitional). Repairing these bugs is no easy mater ( it is not supposed to be easy fix these problems, they were well selected for their intractability ). The idea is one computer and one browser with one operating system.

It might be best if we defined what is the second most important problem the United States of America faces. The failure / destruction of the SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION. The RNC / Cato/Heritage Alliance is out to destroy the SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION via any means possible. The lies and distortions have been flying for the last year like migrating ducks. Now the RNC / Cato/Heritage alliance is vilifying the illeagals to prevent them from reversing the declining birth rate in the United States of America . as I type this the turnaround is under way .

Live births

This cannot be tolerated by the RNC /Cato/Heritage Alliance if the live birth rate slowly rises above 4 MILLION / year and stays there there is no SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION Trust short fall.

Also note that the CBO OSAM has responded to the trend depicted above by moving out the year of SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION Trust exhaustion.

CBO STOCHOSTIC MODEL SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION TRUST FUND RATIOS.

Add the changes up total fertility rate is up, interest rates are up, new job creation is holding above 133,000 jobs / month and total productivity is up.

IF the United States of America did the following:

  • Raised the minimum wage to about $6.50/ hr.
  • Eliminate all sub-minimum wage work categories.
  • Set a immigration quota of about 2 MILLION / year from Mexico. The requirements would be finding a sponsor and finding a full time job , ( sound familiar ). Learn English and complete a citizenship course and take the oath in 3 years.
  • Sanction employers who pay sub minimum wage and/or hire " illegals" @ 5 years and or $50,000.00 fine /count / illegal. ( Federal Felony ). The same for trafficking or smuggling of illegals.

Now strengthen boarder security and sanction those who cross with out proper papers. The absorption of the 12 MILLION who are here is no problem Most are already working and when all are paying taxes our revenues will rise significantly. If this policy is kept in place for 10 years the SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION Trust problem will be a moot point. We need to grow not hide in our bigotry and fear of the future. We need more customers to fuel our growth.

This is a projection of China's GDP growth rate

AARP BOARD PROBLEMS

Here are two problems I have noted in the new layout

also look at this situation

They should also add a link to the preferences panel in any view mode and from all windows. There should also be a selection in preferences to permanently select "advanced" or "basic" view for each user. in advanced mode we need a path to other boards in the AARP system ( computers and technology ect.)

I am using MAC OSX 10.4.4 TIGER SAFARI and I to have seen the small type in posts on the board since the change over. Also I have noted that a post generated in "ADVANCED MODE" will show the small text only in "ADVANCED MODE" on my machine. The problem with LTAM and OSAM divergence isthat OSAM by it's very character is a trend generator / follower and will react faster than the fixed average of the LTAM model. In order for LTAM to change the assumptions input by the SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION actuaries must be adjusted to reflect changing conditions in the economy.

Needles to say the SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION actuaries are very reluctant to very their assumptions unless there dramatic changes in the economy.

I am on OSX 10.4.4 safari , I found that "ADVANCED MODE" AT THIS LINK WORKS

rp-issues&popup=&ctx=0&cacheTag=x53-46&ld=&sts=

4%2F1%2F2006+9%3A53%3A52+PM

As to negotiating a sign on I come up in "BASIC MODE " AND MUST LINK TO "ADVANCED MODE" as there is no link from "BASIC" to "ADVANCED".

Posted 4/5/06 6:23 AM
This is when I am in "ADVANCED MODE".

If I come up in "BASIC MODE" there is no path to "ADVANCED MODE" at the end of the index or discussion list. This appears to be a one way link to basic and no way back. In the basic mode compose window there is no selector for "html" tags in the meSocial security Administrationge. I am using "ADVANCED MODE" NOW and all the other posts that worked properly were in "advanced" mode.

Posted 4/5/06 5:12 AM
The problem is LTAM and OSAM are diverging.

CBO STOCHOSTIC MODEL SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION TRUST FUND RATIOS.

note the 2053 SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION Trust exhaustion date predicted by this model ( over half the boomers will be dead buy that time)

This is the cash flow model from LTAM

Note the 2034 inflection when half the boomers have died off

This is the old "Three out comes chart which is still advocated by the SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION's chief actuary .

The Three out comes is still supported by the SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION while the newer model is more of a "trend follower" and is already reflecting changes in the economic situation.

The Illeagels's are not living on those wages they are subsisting " Grazing like Lucy Man" on whatever they can find you are right Big business is happy with the current wage spread.

BLS WAGES 1997 to 2004

The minimum wage has been stuck at $5.15 / hr. since 1997

This is a shame the Mexican immigrants could save this country $4 TRILLION over the next 20 years if only the sub minimum wage jobs were eliminated and the minimum wage was increased to $6.50 or so / hr. What price our bigotry?????

As per George Walker Bush's SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION reform stump speech "we are going to have only 2.2 workers per retiree "… The Mexican immigrants can fill the SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION short fall with additional FICA taxes if they only made enough to feed themselves and had SS numbers. The bozos in congress don't get it what goes around comes around if they make it we make it. When they pay for apartments buy food buy clothes and pay their own way we all will win. But alas greed and simple mindedness is in vogue on capital hill these days. So much for saving the $4 TRILLION it will cost to save the SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION

The problem seams to be in the " MASTER STYLE SHEET USED BY THE LAY OUT". Note the very small text in the unordered "html" list above in my last post. Looks like the 'java' is using a real small object size???
Posted 4/5/06 2:47 AM
This "ADVANCED MODE" seams to be complete. In

http://community.aarp.org/n/mb/listsf.asp?webtag=

rp-issues&popup=&ctx=0&cacheTag=x53-46&ld=&sts=

4%2F1%2F2006+9%3A53%3A52+PM

The full screen display is some what disorientating at first but survivable. The two things that must be included in any lay out are

  • A clear and easy path to "ADVANCED MODE" from "BASIC MODE" at the bottom of the discussion browser LIST.
  • A "html" select button in the compose window of any lay out or mode

Posted 4/5/06 1:46 AM
The front end discussion browser has more info but the " HTML" button is needed in the compose window and a path to "ADVANCED MODE" IS MISSING IN.

http://community.aarp.org/n/pfx/forum.aspx?nav=messages&webtag=rp-issues&folderId=8&listMode=13

This is the "ADVANCED MODE " compose window

Check here if HTML tags are in the message (not including signature).
Post to the Message Board - all members can read it.
Reply via E-Mail - only "To:" person above can read it.

This is an improvement but the question is where is the path to "ADVANCED MODE"?

Note the missing button below

Post to the Message Board - all members can read it.
Reply via e-mail - only recipient can read it.

To attach files to your message, browse for them on your computer, then press the UPLOAD button. (Maximum file size: 3072 KB.)

Note in the lower cut from the compose window, the html option is missing !

Porn Sting Nabs Federal Official

By ANTHONY McCARTNEY

LAKELAND - When he wasn't sending pornographic movies to and asking for explicit photos from a teenage girl in Polk County, a Maryland man was bragging about his job as a spokesman at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, law enforcement officers said.

The revelation - actually made to a detective posing as a 14-year-old girl - resulted in the arrest of 55-year-old Brian J. Doyle at his Silver Spring, Md., home Tuesday night, officials said.

During his Internet chats, Doyle quickly revealed his name and job, and he sent his office and government-issued cell phone numbers. The information allowed detectives to quickly verify Doyle's identity, the Polk County Sheriff's Office announced Tuesday night.

Is this an expanding and prolific culture within DHS ?

…The charges against Doyle are the second involving a Homeland Security official and alleged improper sexual conduct toward a minor in Central Florida in the past six months.

In October, Tampa's newly appointed Immigration and Customs Enforcement special agent in charge, Frank Figueroa, was arrested in an Orlando shopping mall, accused of exposing himself to a teenage girl.

Figueroa is scheduled to appear in court this morning to enter a guilty plea in that case. Doyle's case began March 12 when he responded to the Internet profile of a 14-year-old girl who was in fact a Polk County sheriff's computer crimes detective, officials said.

Looks like it is time to look into internet "kiddy porn" in general this mess is getting out of control.

This was the board I was using this morning. Looks a little strange but the functionality of WHITNEY is active the last board had a strange ( preview,, revise preview cycle . When an html message was entered the preview that was generated was a display of the html text. No attempt was made to render the post and display it as a preview. When the post was " posted " all html formatting was lost. There is no selector for html posting available in the edit menu. The last board seams to be locked into "plain text" mode.

If the functionality of Whitney can be maintained with html entry as an option the board lay out is fine. This should be a link to the SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION

this should be a chart of Social security Administration cash flows

Posted 4/4/06 9:22 PM
A prime example of what happens when the best html parser on the web is replaced with an also ran,

This morning the board still worked with html posts now the IT wiz kids lost the functionality of WHITNEY …SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION should link back to the Social security Administration. It could this morning.

Posted 4/4/06 9:12 PM
where is the html posting option ???

it was here this morning ???

what did thy do to this board Delay's House Conference of scandal this should be an html link it worked this morning ??

SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION INT MODEL CASH FLOW Chart?

Posted 4/4/06 8:55 PM
First the date and time should be at the top of this post in the center of the page. As per the table layout .

  • This should be a bullet pointed list
  • This list will contain a graphic
  • here If you can see this

Looks like they made a mess out of this board.

Posted 4/4/06 8:44 PM
Lost the ability to post links and to post graphics from an external server . Lost the formatting control of html. What di these kids do to this board destroyed everything that made this board unique. Now it is some what half baked almost done parser like the rest. I hope AARP didn't pay too much for this abortion.
Posted 4/4/06 8:30 PM
Looks like the AARP has taken a step down the food chain with this new board layout.

the editing control has regressed to the least common denominator of the web. Good by Whitney you served us so well as the best html parser of the web.

can a link be specified

Will the formatting come out correctly?

Posted 4/4/06 8:20 PM
Where is the html option???

DeLay Won't Seek Re-Election to Congressional Seat, Will Resign

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=10000103&sid=avrKgZr.ESOQ&refer=us

April 4 (Bloomberg) -- Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, dogged by a federal corruption scandal that has drawn in two former aides, will announce today that he will resign the seat he has held in Congress for nearly 11 terms and won't seek re-election, according to a Republican close to DeLay.

DeLay has decided that he will resign from Congress by the end of May, but hasn't determined an exact date, according to the Republican official. DeLay will also announce that he will move to Virginia, to take advantage of a state law that would allow Republican officials in Texas to replace him on the November ballot if he moves out of state.
